Recently many families in Weston, Florida, were thrown into a panic due to a cap placed on one of the state’s best schools. Cypress Bay High School is located in Weston, Florida. Both schools are “A” rated and a number one choice for parents to send their children. However in 2007-2008, CBHS became the most populous school in the United States with over 5,000 students. The cap required students that were zoned for CBHS to enroll in Western High School.
There is good news for you parents near Weston, the cap has been removed. There are currently around 3,750 students enrolled in CBHS, and the school has earned a ranking among top 1,500 high schools in the US according to Newsweek’s study in 2009. Along with an outstanding ranking, CBHS also features one greater characteristic, its principal. The students adore Principal Charles Neely and have shown they never want him to leave.
